President Prabowo Subianto of Indonesia joined the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1447 H celebration at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, along with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. The event’s theme was “The 2025 State-Level Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday: Ecotheology – The Example of Prophet Muhammad SAW for the Sustainability of the Earth and the Nation.” During the event, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar delivered a sermon emphasizing love, compassion, and happiness, while the Imam of Istiqlal Mosque, Husni Ismail, led a prayer encouraging worshippers to protect nature and promote peace. The objective of the celebration was to honor Prophet Muhammad SAW’s teachings and inspire his followers to preserve the environment in line with his guidance.
